Camp SEE Architecture.

Summer dates: June 22-26, 2026

Welcome to our annual Camp SEE Architecture: Summer of Exploration & Empowerment

Sign up now to join our 5-day immersive summer experience with Community Design and Architecture for girls ages 9-14 at the Historic Coliseum Building, in Longfellow Minneapolis.

Camp sessions are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from June 22 - 26, 2026, and camp fees are on a sliding scale.

We are excited to continue our Camp SEE partnership with Divas for Social Justice this year.

Throughout the week, campers will actively contribute to a collaborative, interactive map of the Longfellow area, highlighting neighborhood assets through a lens of appreciation, storytelling, and community love. Using landscape photography and guided street audits, students will document the spaces that matter to the community from parks and local businesses to cultural landmarks.

Participants will also be introduced to designers’ and architects’ tools, including Computer Aided Design (CAD), and will bring their ideas to life by laser-cutting custom neighborhood maps to be showcased in the Historic Coliseum Building. This hands-on experience bridges technology, art, and architecture, giving girls early exposure to career pathways in design and urban planning.

Campers will deepen their understanding of architecture and urban design through engaging building tours, sketching workshops, and both team-based and independent creative projects. By the end of the program, each participant will leave with not only new technical skills, but also a stronger sense of confidence, voice, and belonging in shaping their communities.

Camp SEE is an investment in the next generation of leaders — equipping girls with the tools, vision, and inspiration to re-imagine and redesign the world around them.

Our Sketchbook

We’ve always loved to read. In 2019, we started a Book Club focused on stories and ideas that expanded our design thinking and nourished our souls.

Now, we’re turning the page.

Book Club 2.0 is becoming Our Sketchbook.

Coming soon, we’ll begin sharing how our habits, priorities, and ideas inform our design process. The people we meet, the places we experience, and the events that shape us all influence how we see the world. And how we see the world shapes how we design within it.

Our Sketchbook is a space to reflect on what has rooted our thinking — creatively, philosophically, and personally — as we design for wellness in the built environment.

It’s where inspiration meets intention.
Where reflection becomes form.
Where design begins long before the drawing does.
