“Coming To A Neighborhood Near You”

Under its new Regional Services Plan and Client Service Delivery Model, Hennepin County’s Human Services and Public Health Department (HSPHD) has strategically located its services into regional hub and satellite offices to improve access and expand community-based involvement. With a focus on enhancing their client experience, these hubs and satellites bring valuable services like WIC, Family Visitation and counseling support to where their clients live, work and attend school. These satellites also offer hoteling and collaborative workplace for staff. This new model of social service delivery has successfully improved both staff efficiency and client services through flexible workspace and mobile technology. Furthermore, proximity to neighborhoods throughout Hennepin County has reduced barriers, such as time and distance, to getting help to those in need more effectively.
