A Look Back As We Move Forward To Celebrate a Common Purpose
As we reflect on CommonSense Consulting’s 10th and Urban Design Perspectives’ 20th anniversaries in business, we are excited to announce the launch of Common Perspectives blog. To mark this occasion, we knew that it was more than just celebrating our success. We also wanted to do something good and invite our community of clients and colleagues to join us on this adventure of paying it forward.
Our mantra for this TenTwenty celebration is Give. Press. Shake.
GIVE: Freely transfer the possession of (something) to (someone)
We all have something to give whether if it’s your talent, time or treasure. The organizations we have selected are places we have served or simply want to help. Our experiences outside of the office enhance our lives, enabling us to pay it forward through meaningful contributions to create greater good.
PRESS: News media and agencies; collectively move or cause to move into a position of contact with something by exerting continuous physical force.
It’s the birth date of Common Perspectives Blog.
We plan to track our giving journey and progress as we press forward. Post TenTwenty, we plan to use this space to share ideas, success stories, and creative solutions for small businesses. As entrepreneurs, we have to think different, be flexible and creative all while making purchasing decisions, marketing and managing people and projects. The list can go on….yet, we wouldn’t choose a different path! Our common purpose is to uplift, encourage and empower the strategically small, but mighty.
SHAKE: Disrupt the norm; upset the composure of; shock or astonish
Not your typical anniversary celebration, so we have done a bit of shaking up to speak. This is reflective of the way we work. We understand how to creatively tweak and restore work environments guiding them toward their highest level of operation and potential. We are undeterred, moving our clients and partners toward a state of unshakeability…so they are rightsized, optimized, and positioned for growth.
