"We Are Family" – U of MN Greek Housing Assessment

With a flourishing Greek family community of 33 fraternities and 15 sororities, the University of MN commissioned a study to evaluate the existing housing stock for ten of these organizations. Greek life participation hovers at 10% of recent undergraduates and members on average have higher GPA’s and four-year completion rates. This level of engagement warranted the study to understand what’s working or what’s not working in Greek housing. Our team conducted facility assessments and provided cost estimates for short and long-term maintenance and repair. We reported on each organization and offered insights on overall building condition. With this level of details, U of MN staff gained understanding of offerings provided by these highly engaged students and the housing staff that cares for them.
